After 20 years as a commercial interiors photographer, Verity Welstead took the move to take her non-commercial practice more seriously and completed an MA at London College of Communication.
She uses self-portraiture and portraiture of those around her to examine and make visible her responses to often overlooked life changing events.
More recently she has been working collaboratively with Rosy Martin.
