In this collaborative work, Rosy Martin and Verity Welstead playfully examines the effects of isolation and social distancing. From acknowledging grief and loss, then making tentative moves towards escape whilst expressing the fears of breaking lockdown rules. Taking the measures of social distancing and the restrictions of masking, they then ventured out onto public transport. This work thus travels through trauma, anxiety, rage, grief, sadness, breaking the rules with defiant energy, finally embracing a punk aesthetic.
